Neil McGregor, Managing Partner at McGregor & Partners, continues the anti-bribery fight and participates in a new event on such an actual topic in the business environment in Romania, this time at the event organized on Thursday, 21st January, by the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, within which it will be debated the CCIR project „Business Without Corruption”.
On this occasion, Neil will explain to the attending representatives of the business environment why the UK 2010 Bribery Act also applies in Romania, in which way and to what extent.
Being qualified as lawyer in Scotland, England, Wales, registered as foreign lawyer in Romania, Neil McGregor is also registered as foreign lawyer in Bulgaria. Carrying out activities in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Moldova and other areas of the region, Neil has a extensive experience in rendering legal advice in internal investments and partnerships between foreign and local companies within a large field of industries.
In this position he presided in 2015 a series of presentation on anticorruption, bringing an important contribution to the events organised by the Ministry of Justice, the Romanian American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC), the diplomatic missions of the United Kingdom and the United States in Bucharest, having a close relationship with the FBI office in Bucharest and following to perform the same series of events in Bulgaria during 2016.
