Se specializează în legislația privind proprietatea intelectuală, oferind consultanță clienților în diferite industrii privind drepturile de proprietate industrială, drepturi de proiectare și de autor, alte drepturi aferente, precum și în industria farmaceutică. Luisa Mendez – Guzman is a Romanian-qualified lawyer in our Bucharest office. She is a Member of the Bucharest Bar and also of the Romanian National Chamber of Industrial Property. She is a certified Procurement Expert.

She specialises in intellectual property law, advising clients in various industries on trademark rights, design rights and copyright and related rights matters, as well as pharmaceutical industry. She is highly experienced and has acquired extensive expertise with respect to domain names and in all IP matters on trademark rights, design rights, copyright and related rights matters, as well as in IT, media, e-commerce and advertising. She also provides extensive advice to clients in the field of healthcare and pharmaceutical legislation.

Luisa has also advised international companies in relation to commercial matters in various sectors (including oil & gas companies, global banking and financial services company, pharmaceutical producers) and assisted client in cross-border enforcement procedures.

Luisa is fluent in Romanian, Spanish and English.

Anca Stroiu is a Romanian-qualified lawyer and a Senior Associate in our Bucharest office.

Anca is a member of Bucharest Bar Association and of French Romanian Lawyers Association. She holds two masters’ degree, one in European and International Law from Nicolae Titulescu University (2014) and the other one in Urban Law from University of Bucharest and Pantheon-Sorbonne University (2015).

She is an experienced lawyer with a valuable expertise on energy, constructions and litigation matters gained in well-recognised local and foreign law firms in Romania. Anca acted as leader in complex transactions and energy project developments and advised on related corporate, regulatory and employment aspects of these transactions.

An advocate with extensive court experience, Anca has also been a speaker at several conferences on renewable energy matters in Romania and abroad. She also published various articles in Romanian law journals on the jurisprudence of the courts of law.

Anca has also advised several art non-profit organisations and sports clubs and advised them on matters pertaining to their day-to-day activities, as well as on specific issues arising out of litigation issues.

Anca speaks Romanian, English, French and Italian.
