Alina Pena joined our Bucharest office in March 2020, as a qualified lawyer.

Alina activates within the Dispute Resolution team of McGregor & Partners SCA, performing legal assistance and representation on behalf of the clients in front of the courts of law and  other competent authorities and institutions in any kind of legal issue. She is an experienced Romanian litigator with particular experience on property, insolvency and bankruptcy, enforcement law, real estate, unfair contract terms, datio in solutum and labor law disputes.

Her experience in consultancy is on civil, commercial, banking, insolvency and labour law.

In 2011, Alina graduated the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest, achieving, one year later, a Masters degree within the specialization ”Criminal Sciences”. She is also a member of the Bucharest Bar.

Alina is fluent in Romanian, English and Spanish.

Kristina Dimitrova is a Bulgarian-qualified lawyer in our Sofia office. She is a Member of the Sofia Bar.

Her practice is mainly focused on banking and financial law, telecommunications and media law and life sciences law, but also covers competition, privacy and data protection and legal assistance in relation to foreigners’ residence status.

Kristina Dimitrova is a mediator registered with the Unified Register of Mediators. She participates in the work of the Centre for Settlements and Mediations at Sofia Regional Court and Sofia City Court. She is President of the National Union of Jurisconsults in Bulgaria since 2013.

She worked as a chief legal advisor, compliance officer and AML supervisor at Ziraat Bank and also gained a 6-year professional experience in other prestigious law firms in Bulgaria, practicing in various areas of law. Before joining the team of McGregor & Partners, she successfully developed her own private law practice by consulting local and foreign legal and natural persons on business activities management, voluntary dispute settlement and mediation.

Kristina is fluent in English and has a good command of German, Spanish, Russian and Turkish.

Maria Anghel is a Romanian-qualified lawyer in our Bucharest office. She is a Member of the Bucharest Bar.

Maria advises Romanian and international companies in relation to commercial matters in various sectors (including Energy, Pharmaceutical, Building, Tax) and assisted clients in merger & acquisition procedures.

She also represented clients in litigation and arbitration procedure on many areas.

Maria holds both a LL.B. and a LL.M. degree with the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest and she also attended the Master in Business Administration Program at University of Bucharest and Fribourg University.

She speaks fluently English, as well as German and French at conversational level.

Bozidar Spassov is a trainee and member in our Sofia office. He is fluent in Bulgarian and English and is studying Law in New Bulgarian University in Sofia.

Bozidar assists the lawyers in their duties and is in touch with public authorities and notaries. He also prepares case summaries and is involved in team work on various corporate and litigation matters.

Aseniya Stratieva is a lawyer and member of Sofia Bar Association and is a graduate of the Law Faculty of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.

Aseniya has experience in corporate law and intellectual property, advising food and cosmetic international company, sport clubs and art non-profit organizations on both complex and day-to-day matters. She also advises on different aspects of establishment, operation and dissolution of companies and is involved in the team dealing with employment and litigation. She is an experienced researcher in various matters under European and Bulgarian law.
