“McGregor & Partners” and “McGregor & Partenerii” are our trade names.  You may not use these trade names without our consent.

“SH” and “Stephenson Harwood” are the trade names of Stephenson Harwood of One, St. Paul’s Churchyard, London EC4M 8SH and may not be used without their consent.

We may provide hypertext links to other sites operated by other people or organisations.  Using such a link means you are leaving our Site and we take no responsibility for, and give no warranties, guarantees or representations in respect of linked sites.

Our liability to you

The law of Romania shall apply to these terms, notwithstanding the jurisdiction where you are based.  You irrevocably agree that the courts of Romania shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with the Terms and for those purposes irrevocably submit all disputes to the jurisdiction of the Romanian courts.  The place of performance shall be Romania.

We make no warranty or guarantee that the Site or information available over it complies with laws other than those of Romania.

General

Any formal legal notices should be sent to us at the address at the end of these Terms by fax and confirmed by post.

Failure by us to enforce a right does not result in waiver of such right.

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms.

We may amend these Terms at any time by posting a variation on the Site.

The English version of these Terms will prevail should there be any discrepancies between it and any version of these Terms in another language.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for collecting user information from the Site and we will not collect any information about you except that required for system administration of the Web server and otherwise as described above.

Cookies are messages given to a web browser by a web server.  The message is then stored by the browser in a text file called cookie.txt.  Each time the browser requests a page from the server, this message is sent back.  The main objective of a cookie is to identify users and personalise their visit by customising web pages for them, for example by welcoming them by name next time they visit the same site.
