The 21st edition of the Caledonian Ball took place on 17 November 2018 at the Intercontinental Hotel Bucharest, organized by the British Foundation Light into Europe. Neil McGregor, Managing partner of McGregor & Partners was the master of ceremony at this event, being in this position for more than 10 years. Moreover, Neil McGregor is one of the founders of the Bucharest Caledonian Ball, which started in 1996 from the wish to popularize the Scottish traditions in Romania, but also for raising funds for different charities. During the last years the Caledonian Ball is organized for raising funds for developing the activity of training of guide-dogs for visual impaired people, coordinated by the organising Foundation, Light into Europe.
